Black bags have long dominated the accessories realm, but recently brown bags have come up trumps as the street-style set’s arm candy of choice. On the runways, bags rendered in chocolate and hazelnut shades emerged at Acne Studios – the Swedish fashion house’s creative director, Jonny Johansson, created an aged-effect leather version of the brand’s iconic Multipoches bag – Chemena Kamali, meanwhile, opted for XXL silhouettes, with a bag featuring dramatised volumes at her first show for Chloé, and Burberry showed bags in various earthy hues.
