In recent years, & Other Stories has carved out a niche in the ever-expanding world of designer collaborations, partnering with talents Rejina Pyo in 2021 and Susan Fang in 2024. Such partnerships have been catnip for style-savvy shoppers, offering a chance to broaden the creative scope of both the brand and the designer, all the while making high-end fashion more easily accessible. Now, for summer 2025, the Swedish retailer unveils its latest partnership with Roksanda – yet another fashion favourite – which has made way for a collection that explores the intersection between art, architecture, and femininity.
This year marks the designer’s 20th anniversary on the London Fashion Week schedule, which each season she has lit up with her eye-catching, sculptural silhouettes and vibrant hues – signatures that are synonymous with the brand – and she took the same colourful approach to her union with & Other Stories. “I wanted to capture the lightness and nostalgia of late summer sunsets, lazy mornings, and the beauty of endless summer days,” Roksanda explains, adding that she wanted to “incorporate those moments that we cherish so much during the summer.”
Day-to-night dressing is integral to the collection. For example, the bronze and coral skirt and orange cowl-neck top are both designed to transition from desk to dinner table. Vivid details are another focal point: “I wanted something painterly – large, loose brushstrokes that feel as though they could have been lifted from a canvas.”
