We can’t deny that Copenhagen Fashion Week’s street-style galleries offer some of the best outfit inspiration, particularly when it comes to easy pairings that take seconds to recreate. However, the beauty of Copenhagen is that the ensembles on the designer runways are just as copyable as those that grace the pavements outside. Not to be restricted by the sort of conceptual, high-fashion creations that you typically see in Milan or Paris, the Danish city has become known for its wearable, yet no less directional, brands that will give you that It-girl look without breaking the bank.
Of course, Ganni was one of the first brands to put the capital on the map, winning over the industry with its throw-on printed dresses, colourful separates and cult accessories – it is a format that countless Scandi brands have gone on to replicate. Now, far from being a support act to its other, more famous fashion city siblings, Copenhagen has its own distinct identity, with its emphasis on sustainability and a lust-worthy line-up of brands, including Nicklas Skovgaard, Saks Potts and Stine Goya, to name but a few.
Having returned from Copenhagen last week, I can confirm that the spring/summer 2025 runways are not lacking in outfit inspiration, not only for next year, but also for the autumn months. There was Baum und Pferdgarten’s sporty pairings (think sequins and track tops), Remain’s ’90s minimalism-inspired separates, A Roege Hove’s splashes of Brat green and Rolf Ekroth’s souped-up denim.
There’s so much to choose from, but we’ve done our best to round-up the seven outfits that we plan on recreating when autumn hits. Scroll down to see and shop our line-up.
