London was on top form when it came to street style this season. Staying true to its eclectic roots, the capital’s individuality shone through both on and off the catwalk, with editors, buyers and content creators alike repping a line-up of autumnal trends outside the spring/summer 2025 shows.
The key takeaways for the season? Firstly, it’s clear that “stealth wealth” is being usurped by what we are calling “conspicuous style”, with show-goers fully leaning into personality pieces – think patchwork denim, whimsical knitwear and graphic stripes – which, more often than not, were worn all at once. The sportswear look is also not going anywhere, with many members of the Vogue team spotted in elevated tracksuits paired with polished accessories, including kitten heels and supple leather totes. The back-to-school look was also prolific on the pavements, materialising in preppy pleated midis (Chopova Lowena’s carabiner skirts were a common sight), loafers, plaid prints and plenty of clean-lined suiting.
